Bryan Thomson
master colorist
Bryan is a lead educator and mentor for our academy program at FRINGE. With 32 years experience in the industry, his vast knowledge and expertise gives us the opportunity to shape the future careers of our newer stylists.
Bryan has worked as a Redken Educator and platform artist for Wella Australia. Awarded “Australian Hair Colorist of the Year” in 1994, he has also co-owned two salons and a hairdressing academy in Sydney.
A specialist in the artistic Balyage technique of hand painted highlights, he has created hair color in his native Australia for films such as “Muriel’s Wedding” and “Strictly Ballroom.” Bryan divides his time as a colorist at Tosler Davis in New York City and at FRINGE.
Outside of salon life, Bryan dedicates his time to the healing arts. He is a practitioner of Sacred Plant Medicine and co-owner of Clain Pilates Plus on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ. |
